Meeting of the Writing Group
The Writing Group will meet on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at the LDS Church, starting at 10:30 am.
Some people come early to work on their genealogy at the Family History Center. Bring your writings to share.....haven't written anything? Start TODAY!
You don't have to stop researching your genealogy to join the Writers Group. You can be the spouse (or friend) of the researcher in your family. You don't have to come to every meeting....come when you can. If you don't write down the stories you have heard or been told in your family.....who will? Not sure how you want to write your story? We will discuss different possibilities. You do it your way with as much help as you want. We will have some pros join us with their ideas. Come with your ideas.....but COME.
Please contact Shirley Hudson or Susan Trumbull for more details
The next meeting will be on March 30, 2017 at 7 pm at the LDS Church.
Note that this is on the 5th Thursday instead of our usual date of the 3rd Thursday.
This is to avoid conflict with the trip to Salt Lake City.
We will have a Q & A session in the first part of the meeting, then there will be a talk on
"How to deal with your Autosomal DNA Test Matches".This will cover how to choose which matches to investigate, how to use what each testing company offers to narrow down your search for long-lost cousins, and more.
