Writing Group Meeting

Meeting of the Writing Group

The Writing Group will meet on Wednesday, January 20th, 2016 at the LDS Church, starting at 1:00 pm.

 If you have done some writing during the holidays, bring it and share it!  Some of you might be interested in knowing about writing classes that are available in Marin in the near future.  The College of Marin Community Education bulletin lists two classes which might peak your interest:
Guided Autobiography: Writing your Life Stories: Two Pages at a Time.
Elements of Creative Writing.

You don't have to stop researching your genealogy to join the Writers Group.  You can be the spouse (or friend) of the researcher in your family.  You don't have to come to every meeting....come when you can.  If you don't write down the stories you have heard or been told in your family.....who will? Not sure how you want to write your story?  We will discuss different possibilities.  You do it your way with as much help as you want.  We will have some pros join us with their ideas.  Come with your ideas.....but COME.
